Maki’s Art is run by me, Maki.

I make Origami Jewellery, and also run an Origami / Art / Craft small business.

All of my jewellery is hand folded by me using washi paper, and coated with resin to set and make it water resistant. Every pair of my handmade origami jewellery is the only one like it in the world!

I love sharing Japanese culture through my art work, for everyone to enjoy. My passion for Origami comes from my grandmother. When she was 92 years old, she would fold Origami cranes everyday - morning to night - and this is my memory of her.

Also Japanese origami cranes have special meaning. They can bring you happiness, good luck and a long life.
